Now that you know a little more about Haibike, we are going to go into detail with this model of electric mountain bike that is the Haibike AllTrail 4. The first thing to note is that the German brand manufactures this ebike with two different colors as You can see in the video and images, and it can also come with 29" or 27.5" Plus wheels. The frame, which can be military green or a lighter green, is made of aluminum with the ebike battery fully integrated into the frame. The geometry that Haibike mounts on this electric bike is an AllMountain or AllTrail, that is, you can ride comfortably on dirt tracks as well as hit trails.
Another highlight of this Habike model is that the color can be combined with the size of the wheels, so you can find 29" wheels with the lightest green color and 27.5 Plus wheels with military green. The big difference with the change of wheels is that with the bigger wheel you will be able to roll better on wide dirt roads and do more kilometers.
As for the electronic part, the Haibike Alltrail 4 comes equipped with a Yamaha motor and battery. The motor that it mounts is the PW Series ST, this Yamaha motor has a power of 70Nm that you can manage with 4 levels of help and pedaling assistance. As for the battery, it is the largest that Yamaha makes, that is, the 630Wh one. With this equipment you will be able to make very long routes, up to 120 km or more depending on the route, unevenness and the level of assistance you have during the journey. As for the Yamaha display, it is very intuitive, it has 4 levels of help, Eco+, Eco, Standard and High and it also has an automatic mode that will allow you to forget about everything, it will manage the help for you in relation to the force that you give to the pedal.
Regarding the damping, this electric mountain bike is different from the one that comes equipped with a 29" wheel or the 27.5" Plus one. Both have full suspension, that is, front fork and shock absorber, both from the Suntour brand, it is a double suspension electric bicycle but the travel of one and the other is not the same. The Haibike Alltrail 4 with 29" wheels has a suspension travel of 120mm, this is because the wheel size does the rest in absorbing obstacles. The Haibike Alltrail 4 with a 27.5" wheel has a suspension travel of 140mm, being a smaller wheel needs a bit more cushioning.
As for the rest of the components, this electric mtb comes equipped with brakes and Shimano development. The brakes are Shimano MT401, with two pistons both front and rear. As for the development, the Alltrail 4 has an 11-speed Shimano Deore, as you may well know, it is not the largest on the market, but on an electric bicycle it is more than enough, because on steep climbs that can be very difficult, the motor does the rest so you can upload them. A negative point of this ebike is that it does not come equipped with a dropper post as standard, we are very fans of this type of post because we believe that for mountain routes it is an essential accessory. So we recommend putting the extra that can raise the price of the bike by a maximum of €200.

The great advantage of this model is that you can choose, not only with one feature but with two. The first thing is that you can choose between two colors, a military green and a lighter green, so if you don't like one, you will surely like the other. But not only that, but you can also choose the wheel size, between 29" front and rear or 27.5". The big wheels will be better for you if you are looking to roll and add kilometers to your legs, on the other hand, the 27.5" wheels will allow you to have a more maneuverable electric bicycle on the descents, in terms of grip both are very similar since they carry the same type of lug tire.
As for quality - price, we find that it is a very good electric mtb since it has the largest battery that Yamaha makes with which you can do more than 100Km without problem.
An accessory that we have found that this electric mtb is missing and that we recommend putting is the dropper post. You will find yourself more comfortable both going uphill and when you are pedaling as well as going downhill because you will be able to put your body back more easily.
