Mustache Samedi 29 Trail 11 2022 Electric MTB

We uncover the new Mustache Samedi 29 Trail 11, a spectacular electric mountain bike

Today in our blog we present you a novelty of those that make noise since it is an electric MTB that equips the new 750Wh Bosch battery. Stay tuned because from now on more ebikes with this new battery will begin to arrive, not only from Mustache but also from the rest of our brands.

But now we are going to tell you in detail about this electric bicycle that is the top model in the Trail range. As you well know, the Mustache Trail range is not the most aggressive of all, the Game range has a more enduro geometry and the Trail is more of an All Mountain with a more balanced geometry.

Let's talk first about the frame of this electric mountain bike. As many of you already know, Mustache takes great care of the image of the ebike, as you can see in this new range of Trails, the French brand continues to bet on a fine line, cared for and polished down to the last detail. As much as it is the top model, many of you already know that Mustache never builds carbon frames, they only make aluminum frames, only manufacturing electric bicycles, they know that a carbon frame is not essential in an ebike and they prefer to have a good aluminum frame and bet on that. Even so, it looks like a carbon frame because it has no welds on the joints, Mustache takes so much care of the aesthetics that it works the welds to make them smooth.

In addition to this, as you can see in the video and images, the change between a Mustache with a 625Wh or 500Wh battery with the new 750Wh battery is not noticeable. They have worked very well on this part too and can continue with their line that is so popular in the world of ebikes.

Since we have talked about the new Bosch battery, we are going to explain all the electronic part of this Mustache Trail 11. Naturally, it has the best Bosch motor, the Bosch Performance Line CX, which has up to 85Nm of power and combines it with the new Bosch PowerTube 750Wh battery, the new battery from the German brand, as we have told you so far. It is surely one of the first ebikes to arrive in Spain with this battery since the rest of the brands have also confirmed that from July we will have more units.
Bosch has not only brought out the new battery, but also the remote control is new, much more intuitive than the one they had before for the Kiox, Nyon and Intuvia displays. You know at all times with the level of help you go because now it shows it with colors as you can see in the images and the video on our YouTube channel. In addition, this mountain ebike is equipped with the Bosch Kiox 300 display, a screen that tells you all the information related to the electric bike and your route. Also through Bluetooh you can connect your Smartphone.

Once the electronic part has been explained, we will now talk about the components of this Mustache electric MTB. How can it be otherwise, being the best model in the Trail range, it comes equipped with the best components on the market.
Let's first talk about suspensions. It comes equipped with full suspension, that is, it is a full suspension electric mountain bike. The fork is a FOX Float Factory 36 with Kashima coating with 150mm travel, the shock is from Mustache, they make it themselves and it is the Magic Grip Control with 150mm travel as well.

As for the brakes and the transmission, it is equipped with Shimano in both cases and the highest range of Shimano. The brakes are Shimano Deore XT, both the pads, which are 4-piston, and the discs, which are cooled. The derailleur is a Shimano Deore XTR with a 12-speed development. Also, how can it be otherwise, this ebike is equipped with a dropper post as standard, as well as the shock absorber, also manufactured by Mustache at its headquarters in France.

To finish with the explanation of this electric mountain bike, we need to talk about the wheels. Mustache continues to bet on 29 "wheels both front and rear. Today we know that many brands are already committed to mounting 29" wheels in front and 27.5" in the rear on their most aggressive and enduro models. This being the Trail range, it continues to mount 29” on both wheels and I don't think it will change. Perhaps the Game range is the one that will be able to make the change since it is the most aggressive Mustache range, even so, this year we will not see it, if they do it will be next year.

Advantages and disadvantages of the Mustache Trail 11:

Based on the fact that there are few electric mountain bikes better than this, both in terms of motor and components, it is difficult to fault it, what we can say is that it may not be the ebike you are looking for. As we told you at the beginning, this Mustache range is not the most aggressive it has so if you are looking for something with more suspension travel, you should look at the Mustache Game range, KTM Prowler range, Haibike ALLMTN range, Moterra Cannondale etc. That being said, you may also find the price to be a bit high for what you are looking for and what you will be doing with your ebike. Well, for that we also have a solution because we can reduce the budget of the electric mountain bike while maintaining the same motor and battery, which would lower the performance of the components, while maintaining quality components, yes. The mountain ebikes with the new Bosch battery will start around €5,500 - €6,000 depending on the brand and the components that these electric mountain bikes have.
