Discover the new Bosch Performance Line CX Race motor

In this video we explain in detail the new Bosch Performance Line CX Race engine, since Bosch invited us to Vall Parc de la Fenasosa to try it out and see how it works.

It is a motor that is designed to provide you with much more help on your routes compared to the 85Nm Bosch Performance Line CX motor, which is the one previously mounted on electric bicycles. It is an engine that has a differentiated design, with more compact dimensions and is protected by a magnesium casing with a gray metallic finish.

This engine gives you 400% help with Race mode , 60% more than the Performance Line CX. It also has a mode with Race, Turbo and MTB that makes difficult and steep slopes easier to climb.

This novelty that Bosch has released works perfectly for all those of us who climb trails and find, for example, some rock and while we pedal we can touch the stone with the pedal, this mode means that with a quarter of a pedal stroke, as you can see in the video, we can go up rocks perfectly, specifically this way it gives you an extra 4 seconds of power . This is also done with Turbo mode and MTB mode but with less intensity and less duration.

With this new engine, Bosch also brings out a new Display for enduro bikes with the Race engine that will not have a remote control or screen, everything will be controlled from the frame .

An advantage of this motor is its weight, at just 2.75kg it makes it the lightest Bosch motor to date .
